The Studio

Expect to work up a sweat so please bring a sweat towel and a water bottle.

If it’s your first time, we recommend getting to the studio 5-10 minutes before your first session, we have a quick form for you to complete. We’ll point you to the bathrooms and answer any questions you might have about your upcoming session.

Yes, we have access to the end of trip bathroom facilities in the Craftworks building. Towel service is provided as well so you don’t need to lug around a towel in your gym bag anymore!

We have shelves in the studio for belongings and lockers are available in the bathrooms.

Getting Started

Yes, you can try 14 days of Group Training for $40 and 3 x SPT sessions for $100

Yes we do offer Personal Training outside of our Semi Private training times.

Your First Session

Comfortable workout gear and training shoes. We highly recommend a reebok nano / nike metcon style shoe for functional training.

This is entirely up to you and how you want to shape your training routine.

Most GT members train 4, 5 or 6 times a week attending a mix of workout styles.

If you are a runner, triathlete or cyclists then you might want to attend 2 x strong sessions per week.

Functional sessions are your dynamic cardio/conditioning workouts while Strong is your dedicated pure strength training workout.

Injuries come in all shapes and sizes, some more serious than others and our coaches will help offer modifications when required.

Group Training and SPT bookings can be made by using the mobile app. We suggest you book in advance to your preferred sessions to avoid being waitlisted.

If you are waitlisted and you get moved into a class you should receive an SMS or email notification to let you know.

 

We ask for 7 hours notice to cancel your booked session. If you are using casual or pack visits you will lose your session.  There are no financial repercussions to unlimited  group training members, we ask is that you cancel as soon as possible and we would prefer you to late cancel than to do a no show as this will allow us to move waitlisted people into the class.

Semi Private Training

Semi Private Training is a 45 minute session.

There is no one size fits all approach. How often you do SPT depends on your needs, goals and budget. Some clients do 1 x session per week, some do 3 x per week. Some do a mix of SPT and Group Training. Some of our clients are runners or cyclists who like to do a weekly SPT session to add strength training to their routine.

  • 7-10 minute warm up using mobility and activation drills.
  • 20-25 minute strength workout
  • 6-10 minute conditioning based finisher

We ask for 7 hours notice to cancel your booked session. If you are using casual or pack visits you will lose your session.
